Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. She was raised listening to classical, old boleros and traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana is a lover of tangos, opera, and the various forms of dramatic performing. Her mother taught her to sing, and she began an intensive training in vocals by Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. his name was known as a famous Mexican opera Tenor. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. When she moved back to California in United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current place in the southern part of California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private performances as a soloist. She is passionate about music, art, and performing keep her engaged with a variety of local initiatives as a teacher and performer. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently an instructor of The Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for having the chance to share her love and love for classic Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire particularly among the younger generation to keep this vibrant music alive.Viva Mexico!
