Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teen she sang both in traditional and popular music. But, her singing interests have broadened to include hip-hop and soul. Her voice is called by no less of an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with a bite like those of the past. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded the Grammy. In 2021, the single La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The release date was March 20, 2022, following the performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to perform in a solo performance on the show. Motomami was her album which has won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to have an award for Latin Album of the Year win twice.
